Textiles Alive have continued their investment in new technology, and have now acquired 2 x state of the art direct to fabric digital TexPress printers, 2 x Sublimation printers, and now 2 x heat transfer presses.
The Monti Antonio 75 CFE is the latest addition to their Industrial custom built Transfer presses, Purchased through Les King at Digi Vision) offering outstanding performance and of course coupled with it’s energy efficiency’s helps negate the impact on the environment.
Since moving into their new tailor made premises in June 2010, situated at 101 Aerodrome Road in Mount Maunganui, Textiles Alive floor space has doubled from what they used to have. This has helped them to find new homes for all the new Investments of new machines being made, and has also aided them to significantly increase their capacity and output and improve the turnaround.
Neil Sedgwick, the General Manager, who joined the team in November 2010, is responsible for over seeing production. Neil brings a wealth of knowledge, especially on the environmental front, and was an instrumental part of this buying decision.
Textiles Alive are a wholesale manufacturer and distributor of printed textiles to the trade only and pride themselves on offering solutions to unusual requests.
“Our vast industry knowledge means that we can assist with the ‘odd-ball’ requests. We fully understand our print capabilities, and this knowledge is leading the way with our product development programme,” states Neil.
“Our other new initiatives that will be introduced over the coming year will be the ordering portal and offering customers the ability to download their image and requests on to a template. In turn this instills confidence in the customer that what he asks for - is what he gets.”

The graphics / printer unit of Dean, Bryce, Karl and Wayne (our hands on Director) keeps the jobs moving through the system. Vicki, Carol, Nicky and Andriena ensure your products are professionally finished to a high standard of quality and on time.
Between Dean and Wayne (and any else who is spare!) - your goods are dispatched on time. Neil watches over them all and is responsible for improving efficiency, quality, systems and staff. And John (the other Director) is best to be kept away from production (!), so he’s in charge of marketing and sales.
