In light of the Prime Ministers announcement over the last few days and in moving to Alert Level 4, we are now operating under level 4 trading restrictions.
After liaising with Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment (MBIE) about what we do in this sector, and following the guidelines as detailed on the covid19.govt.nz website we are deemed an essential support service. Textiles Alive Ltd supplies a range of specific products into a range of essential service industries and as such will have reduced production capability to deliver essential services work only. All other times our factory remains closed.
As such we will continue operating with minimum staff onsite to keep essential equipment and products moving whilst adhering to safe hygiene practices with clear safe zones during the Covid-19 shutdown period. We will manage production resources inline with the demand for delivery of all essential service products. As the largest production house nationally we have both hardware and consumables on the shelf to ensure the fastest possible delivery for these essential service products.
Selected team members of team are available remotely to ensure we are able to provide product and support as needed during the lockdown period.
This is obviously a developing situation and like most businesses we will continue to operate in good faith, and will be adhering to Government instructions as they are provided, along with following the most up to date information available from the COVID-19 website.
